Are you a small voluntary or community organisation in the Babergh area?
Would you like some free training to develop the skills of your committee, staff or volunteers?

The Small Organisational Support Project is running a series of informal and friendly sessions on a wide variety of subjects at the Christopher Centre in Sudbury to help your group become more effective, comply with the law and develop good practice.

Packed with practical tips and useful resources, all the sessions are free!

As part of this series our next two sessions are:

Marketing and Publicity – Tuesday October 4th at 10am
Refreshments from 9.45am
This session will teach you how to write good press releases, design brochures and leaflets and work with the media.

Managing Volunteers – Tuesday November 1st at 10am
Refreshments from 9.45am
This session will teach you how to recruit, induct, support and retain your volunteers and ensure that they are effective, manageable and loyal.

Places are filling up fast so don’t miss out this hugely beneficial opportunity!

Booking for both sessions is advised. For further information and to book your places please contact Jo Travis-Shelton on either 0845 260 6340 or volunteering@bctsuffolk.org.uk

If you make a booking and fail to attend or cancel your booking with less than 48hrs notice, you will be invoiced £5 per place per session to cover admin costs.
