The course will enable those who are responsible for working with or managing volunteers to understand all aspects of current legislation as it affects volunteering and to enable those who are considering taking on volunteers for the first time to examine management implications for their own organisation.

It will provide an understanding of how current legislation has implications for volunteers and volunteer involving organisation and knowledge of good practice recommendations relating to the management of volunteers.
