The Babergh East Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is made up of a number of statutory and voluntary agencies whose aim is to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the communities within the area of the Babergh East LSP.

 As a result of funding made available to it the Babergh East LSP has introduced a third round of funding for small community grants for this year, 2009. The fund totals £18,500 (£8,150 revenue and £10,350 capital). Consequently, large grants are unlikely but all applications will be considered on their merits.

 Please read the attached eligibility criteria and if you think your organisation meets them, then please complete the application form included and return it by 30 September 2009 to: Tim Mutum, Babergh District Council, Corks Lane, Hadleigh, Ipswich IP7 6SJ

A Panel, made up from the LSP Board, will assess the applications, and determine who will receive grant awards. It is intended decisions will be made and awards announced in November 2009.
