Resource Loans Print E-mail

If the thought of buying expensive IT or multimedia equipment is spoiling your plans, it's time to think again.

We loan equipment to any Voluntary or Community Group who have a registered charity number or their own written constitution.

Items of equipment can be hired for 1 week for just £5 per item.

Conditions of Use

1) All users need to be members of voluntary organisations/charities, known to Babergh Communities Together, prior to borrowing any items or using office services (i.e. photocopying, laminating)

2) All items hired must be signed for when collected and signed back in when returned.

3) If any item is lost or damaged, a member of staff at Babergh Communities Together should be informed immediately (0845 2606340)

4) The user will be expected to pay any insurance excess payable in order to be able to replace or repair an item of equipment that they have lost or damaged whilst borrowing it.

5)All users must ensure, when taking any equipment from the Babergh Communities Together premises, that they have adequate insurance cover in the event of loss or damage.

Failure to have adequate insurance cover will not prevent Babergh Communities Together from charging the full cost of replacement/ repair in the event of the borrowed equipment being lost or damaged.
